Health and Safety Policies
Faber’s safety management system has been developed following the methodology of British Standards BS8800:2004.
All of Faber’s scaffold operations are compliant with:
• BS/NASC – Code of practice for Access Scaffolds and Special Scaffold Structures in Steel
• SI 1996/1592 – Construction (Health, Safety & Welfare) Regulations 1996
• SI 1994/3140 – Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 1994 (where applicable)
•All design Scaffolds comply with Reg 13 of CDM

Environmental Policies
Our environmental policy, through management commitment, is to encourage staff awareness of the need to care for the environment and in particular to be aware of the effects that our activities may have. Specifically we will:
• Do all that we reasonably and practically can to protect and preserve the natural habitat of the areas in which we conduct our activities
• Manage our resources to save energy, reduce wastage, promote recycling, avoid damage to the environment and prevent pollution
• Advise customers, where appropriate, on the best use of men and materials
•Operate and implement an environmental management system
